Pickled Mushrooms


  • Quantity of Mushrooms
  • White vinegar - sufficient to cover
  • Garlic salt - according to taste
  • Salt and pepper - according to taste
  • Chilli Powder - according to taste
  • Oregano - according to taste
  • Olive oil


1Pour vinegar into a saucepan and bring to the boil.

2Place Mushrooms in vinegar and return to boil for approx 1 minute.

3Remove Mushrooms from vinegar, drain and pat dry.

4Place Mushrooms in large bowl and mix with other ingredients to taste.

5Press Mushrooms firmly into small jars and pour small amount of oil on top

6Seal with lid.
